It’s So Easy!
Let’s Go To Pier NYC
The new culinary hot spot (and event venue) on the “East Side” of Manhattan is now on Roosevelt Island. Pier NYC is a new outdoor dining summer venue. Serving a moderately-priced and diverse casual dining menu including BBQ, Seafood, Drinks and Sweets… with spectacular views of Manhattan and the Queensborough Bridge.
“It’s one of those spots that sounds a lot farther away than it is. You can get there on the F Train or via a four-minute ride on the Roosevelt Island Tramway, from Second Avenue and 59th Street”. - Marc Shepherd, New York Journal
Weather permitting… Pier NYC’s Red Umbrella has you covered! And it’s so easy to get here too! You’re a New Yorker. Been there, ate that!
But admit it… unless you play sports here; you’ve probably never even been to Roosevelt Island.
You know… that sliver of land between Manhattan and Queens. Welcome.
Take the Roosevelt Island Tram
Take the F-Train
The F-Train stops here on Roosevelt Island
The Roosevelt Island Tramway transports passengers next to the Queensboro Bridge as it passes over Manhattan
